New Year in North Wales

Monday, 1 January 2018

Along with some of our nearest and dearest friends, we headed to the North Wales coast to ring in the New Year. We stayed just outside of Abersoch. It was four days to relax, walk on the beach and recharge our batteries after the Christmas season.

We spent most days going on windy beach walks or reading by the fire, admiring the views from our sweet little house.

If you're in the area, why not go for a walk and end up at the Ty Coch or have a wander through Abersoch. Abersoch is SUPER busy during the summer, it becomes Shropshire-on-Sea as soon as the schools break up. At this time of year, it's not too busy. The shops (Crew, Jack Wills, Joules, etc.) were open and there were some places that you could have a cosy coffee.

We also stumbled across the cutest little villages, including this one. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of it!

Time slowed down, we slept in late and stayed up into the night, playing games, drinking and laughing. The perfect way to end one year and begin a new one.
