Autumn Bucket List

Thursday, 21 September 2017

Personally, I find that the beginning of Autumn can be a tricky time. There are moments when it is wonderful: the changing leaves, cosy nights and an excuse for multiple cups of hot chocolate. However, Autumn signifies the end of summer and going back to the 'real world.' The days are shorter and colder and summer seems like a long distant memory.

I've been seeing a lot of bucket lists posts recently and today was inspired by Julia's 'Fall Bucket List' at Gal Meets Glam to write one of my own.

As I finished university this summer and have just started a new job, I feel that a bucket list is the perfect opportunity for me to have a focus outside of work and try things that I have been putting off throughout my studies...

My Autumn Bucket List

  1. Bake the perfect batch of cinnamon rolls
  2. Go on a city break
  3. Take a ghost tour of our town with my Mum
  4. Do Bonfire Night properly
  5. Complete the bike trail running alongside the river
  6. Complete a photography project
  7. Host a dinner party
  8. Make a homemade cherry pie
  9. Carve pumpkins
  10. Have an old fashioned slumber party with friends

I'll be blogging along the way but hopefully this will be the start of a wonderful autumn! I'm sure that in order to bake the perfect batch of cinnamon rolls, I'll have to taste a lot...well, c'est la vie!
